The Sunshine Coast and Hinterland Region

While Bribie Island is packed full of attractions and activites, the area surrounding Bribie Island also features many beautiful beaches as well as quaint local towns, country markets and magnificent scenery to explore and view.

Take a trip just a little further north of the Bribie Island turnoff (from the Bruce Highway) and you find Caloundra, just one hour's drive north of Brisbane. From here the beautiful beaches of the Sunshine Coast extend up to Cooloola, the gateway to Fraser Island. In between there is Kawana, Mooloolaba, Maroochydore, Coolum Beach, Noosa and Rainbow Beach.

Every bit as relaxing as the surf and sun of the Sunshine Coast and just a stone's throw from the beach is the Hinterland - lush, cool, fertile lands and fascinating little towns, art galleries, country markets and excellent restaurants. Escape to the crisp air, stunning views and fascinating towns of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, and take in the Glass House Mountains, Blackall Range, Noosa Hinterland and the Mary Valley.
